A Quick Update!

I didn't realize that it had been so long since I had blogged. Since you last heard from us we have been busy doing beautiful arrangements, making big plans, and spending time with our friends in the wedding industry.

Next week we will be doing the Green Valley Bridal Show. If you are planning on attending the show to stop by our booth for a free gift to show our appreciation. We have allot of really fun stuff planned for our booth and are so excited to be able to share some new stuff with brides.

There is a photo shoot in the works with our friend Mimi Banasik from mimi-photography.com. With her amazing photography talent and our awesome florals it's a recipe for some beautiful pictures. Make sure to check Mimi out, she specializes in pin-up and beauty photography.

Another one of our rising star friends is Carla Taylor, the designer of Lola and George (lolaandgeorge.com). Already major celebrities like Fergie, Jenny Garth and Mary Louise Parker are wearing her handmade creations. Need your something blue? Trying to find a gift for your guy? Lola and George has a line of cuff links!

Make sure to be watching for the Weeds name in local publications. The next issue of Las Vegas Bride and Perfect Wedding Guide will have the new Weeds ads in them. Our goal is to not just become a household name but a name that is known for our amazing talent and supreme customer service. Did you know when you book your big event with us you are receiving the exclusivity of our services for the day? We don't just come in and drop off your florals and rush off, we are there to make sure that the flowers you are receiving are beyond your expectations. No, we can not insure that your entire day will be perfect but we can promise your flowers will be!

Check back for pictures of our booth at the Green Valley Bridal Show!

Its Friday!!!

...Which is more like a Wednesday or Thursday for us but none the less exciting. The winner of our monthly floral club is receiving her third arrangement today. Technically it is supposed to be her 4th but the month of July came and went entirely too quickly. Here is a quick snapshot of her piece.

After reviewing the shoots I took of this particular piece I thought maybe I should take a photography class because my skills are seriously lacking or better yet, using a camera better than the one on my cell phone would help too. Needless to say the picture does not do much justice for the flowers at all.

The rest of our day will be filled with preparations for this weekends weddings!

6.6.09

Everyone loves a June Brides! I had the pleasure getting to know this Bride, Mother of the Bride, and Maid of Honor prior to her wedding. The ceremony was at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino followed by a reception at Joe's Stone Cold at Ceaser's. This was the first opportunity I had to work with the staff at Joe's and I can not say enough good things about this venue. Everyone I encountered were so willing to help and so friendly, making for a great event. Here are a few shoots from the evening.
